THINKING OF VISITING US?

THINKING OF VISITING US?

THINKING OF VISITING US?

We completely understand that visiting a church for the first time can be tough.
Will the people be friendly? Will I be over/under dressed?
What is the music like? Will they have something for my kids?
While it may be difficult to answer ALL of your questions about GCI,
we have compiled a list of questions and answers to help you.
If at anytime, you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
We are here to serve you.

What is your typical Sunday morning service like?

There are two main components to our Sunday morning service: worship through Song and worship through the Teaching and Application of the Bible.

What is the music like?

We like to think of our music as a blending of contemporary and traditional music styles.
This means you will hear both hymns and modern worship songs arranged to engage a God-centered response in the hearts of His people.

What is the preaching like?

We believe in an expository style of preaching.
That is, we let the Bible speak for itself.
This means that we teach systematically, verse-by-verse through the books of the Bible.

We also find it valuable to take a topical approach on occasion.

What is there for my Children & Youth?

On Sunday mornings, we offer a Sunday school program for all ages, birth through 5th grade.
Every child will be checked in at our Kids Chapel Kiosk
On Wednesday evenings we offer our AWANA ministry, ages 3 years old- 5th grade.
We also have Jr. High and Sr. High youth groups on Wednesday nights.

What is appropriate dress for a worship service at GCI?

We believe that how we dress should reflect our relationship with God.
We encourage comfortable "business casual" attire.
We are careful that our dress is modest and not distracting to others.

What makes Grace Chapel distinct?

1) A stand on the foundational doctrines of the historic Christian Church

2) The focus on the teaching and preaching of the Word of God

3) The focus on building a Gospel-driven community among the people at Grace

4) The desire to reach the communities of the Coachella Valley with the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ

5) The aim to disciple and equip the saints for the work of service
