Second Act is a Biblical support and fellowship ministry for widows. It doesn’t matter how long or short the time has been since you lost your husband, we all need a safe place to talk about our grief and to both give and receive godly encouragement. Together we are learning to seek solace and sustenance in God’s word, in prayer, and in fellowship with others who are going through a similar experience.
We can think of our lives like a play, in which the First Act of the play ended with our husband’s passing. We know there will be a Second Act, and we can have confidence that because God is both the playwright and the director, it will be an amazing one. But in between there is a period of Intermission as we grieve, learn, prepare, and grow into what the next stage of our life will be. Come join with us as we journey toward our Second Act.
We meet monthly, usually on the Fourth Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
