Heart for the Lost Ministry is about building relationships within our own
community, to share the Gospel, encourage the saints, and to be a witness for the love of Jesus. We provide training in conversationally sharing the Gospel message in simple language,
and opportunities to practice.
We also have regular outreach in the community parks where families gather,
offering free crafts for kids, while engaging with parents as they watch over the activities. Often strangers become friends, many individuals are curious about God and are eager to listen to the hope the Gospel offers. We have opportunities to knock on doors to invite our neighbors to church and outreach events and engage on their doorstep in conversations about Jesus if they are willing.
Always our goal is to share with those that are ready, to seek out the lost sheep
like in Luke 15: 4-7. We go out with the intention of meeting
“Divine Appointments” in the fields trusting the harvest is plentiful (Matthew 9:36-38)
[Luk 15:4-6 LSB] 4 "What man among you, if he has one hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 "And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 "And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for
I have found my sheep which was lost!'
Outreach is one of our core pillars of ministry at Grace Chapel. In fact, our mission statement ends with our stated desire and pursuit to "Reach the World."
