On the Care and Protection of Elders

A prayer was heard from a saint who loved to pray for the Elders of their church, “Lord you keep them humble, we will keep them poor!” I don’t know if God heard that prayer, but I’m sure it came from a sincere, well-intending saint. I do know that God wants a church congregation to do two very specific things for their Elders — care for them, and protect them! That is God’s instruction to the church through the pen of Paul to Timothy and to Grace Chapel Indio (and any other church in the world).
